Patel Park
A public park in Ilupeju, renovated by the club and maintained by it ever since, named for the charter member who became its third President.

Patel Park sits on Town Planning Way in Ilupeju, a short walk from where the club meets. It is an ordinary public park on an ordinary Lagos street, and it is the club’s longest-running piece of physical work: renovated and commissioned on 30 June 2022 under President Kole Jagun and District Governor Remi Bello, and maintained by the club in every year since.
The park carries a bronze bust of Naranbhai G. Patel, MFR, AKS, who lived from 1939 to 2021. The plaque beneath it records him as a Rotarian, a charter member of the club, an industrialist and a philanthropist, a man dedicated to serving humanity and community development. He was born in India, came to West Africa in 1957 and spent most of his life in Nigeria. He served as the club’s third President in 2010-11.
On Saturday 25 July 2026 the club returned with District Governor Bukola Olabisi Bakare to rededicate the park on his memorial day, and spent the morning planting it out.
