What we publish about
our members, and what we do not.

What is published

On the members page we publish each member’s name and their vocational classification, the trade or profession they represent in the club. Rotary’s classification principle is the reason a club exists in the shape it does, so we think it is worth showing.

On the leadership page we publish the name and role of each office bearer and director for the current Rotary year.

What is never published

• Rotary International member numbers
• Telephone numbers
• Email addresses
• Home or business addresses
• Dates of birth, induction dates or sponsor details
• Any member’s charitable giving

This is enforced in the code that builds the site, not only by policy. The club’s annual Impact Workbook contains a membership directory with member numbers, mobile numbers and email addresses; the tool that generates the members page is written to refuse to read those pages of the document at all.

The previous website

An earlier version of this website published a member directory that included Rotary International member numbers. That page has been removed and the club has requested its removal from search engine indexes. If you find a cached copy anywhere, please tell us and we will pursue it.

Reaching a member

Write to the club at info@rclpge.org and we will pass your message on. We will not give out a member’s contact details.

Corrections

If you are a member and something here is wrong, or you would prefer your name not to appear, contact the club and we will change it.
